Having grown up as a child where he was the recipient of a caring community, Dennis felt the Lord growing his heart with compassion at an early age.

 

The "fundraising bug" was initially born in 2005 in response to the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. Within six days, Dennis and Edie arranged a golf tournament that raised over $10,000 to help those devastated by the tragic event.

 

The Demshars feel called to share God’s love by helping people with tangible needs, which often means supporting smaller faith-based organizations that do not rely on government assistance.

 

Dennis and Edie feel blessed with the opportunities, skills, and resources for reaching out to others. They have homes in The Villages and St. Augustine, Florida, where they live with their beloved little rescues, Harley and Sophia.
